Salvatore Marchelli starts his activity as an Ironmonger with a factory of nails and wheel rims and a Blacksmith's workshop.

After completing his secondary school education, Andrea Ghidini sets up, together with other experts in the sector, the Company BRUNA BOSI s.a.s. di Andrea Ghidini & C. for the sales and marketing of tools and technical items.

The Marchelli family creates OVERMACH S.r.l. for the sales and marketing of machine tools.

Bruno Marchelli and his partner Elio Bertolotti, transfer the companies SALVATORE MARCHELLI S.pA. and OVERMACH S.r.l. to BRUNA BOSI S.r.l.
While SALVATORE MARCHELLI S.p.A. is incorporated by merger in BRUNA BOSI S.p.A.,OVERMACH S.r.l. maintains its structure and organisation.
Andrea Ghidini becomes its President and General Manager.

OVERMACH SERVICE S.r.l. is founded for the purpose of providing after-sales service. The majority shareholder is OVERMACH S.r.l., while the remaining shares are attributed to operating Technicians.

Transformation of OVERMACH from an S.r.l.(private limited company) to an S.p.A.(public limited company).

The company TECNOMACH S.r.l. is founded: OVERMACH S.p.A. is the majority shareholder while the remaining shares are registered to a Group of qualified sales Organisations with headquarters in Piedmont, Lombardy and Friuli. The aim of TECNOMACH S.r.l. is the acquisition, with exclusive rights, of foreign Companies for the sales and marketing throughout Italy of highly technological machine tools.
OVERMACH SISTEMI Division is created offering CAD/CAM systems and CNC connections.

OVERMACH S.p.A. and its subsidiaries have their headquarters and plants in the Moletolo Industrial Estate.
After the most recent enlargement, the showroom and warehouses occupy approx. 11.500 sq. m. of an overall surface of approx. 30.000 sq. m.

The most significant foreign Company is DAEWOO, now DOOSAN INFRACORE.
From 1992 till the end of the year 2003, the OVERMACH group has installed over 3500 DAEWOO machines.
During this year, the company FIL SERVICE S.r.l. is founded, and again the majority shareholder is Overmach S.p.A., the remaining shares being assigned to the operating Technicians. The operating base is in Cuggiono.
The aim of the Company is to provide service for the 1500 FIL milling machines operating throughout the world.

The Company OVERMACH USATO S.p.A. is founded.
The Parent Company OVERMACH S.pA. has a majority holding in the share capital while the rest is held by TECNOMACH S.r.l. The operating base is in Cuggiono (Milan) on the premises of the ex FIL FRESATRICI S.p.A. company, consisting of approx. 4,000 sq.m. of warehouse space and over 1,000 sq. m. of office space. Here the Milanese Branch of the Parent Company (transferred from Pero) is situated together with the second-hand machine business.
A Show-Room of approx. 1,000 sq. m. is then created for the purpose of exhibiting a group of new machines.
Still in the course of 2004, both Overmach Service and Tecnomach turn their corporate form from S.r.l.(private limited company) to S.p.A. (public limited company).

Tecnomach enters CMAR S.r.l. purchasing the majority interest.
CMAR S.r.l. takes on the name of TECNOMACH AUTOMAZIONE S.r.l. with operating base in Cuggiono (MI). The Registered Office is situated in Parma, on the same premises as the Parent Company. Also in the course of 2005, Tecnomach S.p.A. enters the company TECNOTRADE OBRABECI STROJE s.r.o.set up in the Czech Republic.
Daewoo is taken over by the Doosan group and takes on the name Doosan Infracore.
The number of Daewoo machines installed at the end of 2005 is 4500.
The new offices of the Parma company are officially opened with a substantial enlargement of the showroom and warehouses.

The machine preparation area is considerably extended too with the construction of a new building.
The overall surface available is now 40.000 sq.m., 14,000 sq. m. of which are covered.
At the end of 2006, the total number of machines installed amounts to 7.000.

The latest news of the OVERMACH GROUP concerns the acquisition of EUROMECCANICA S.p.A. the responsibility of which is to supply high quality machine tools to Tooling workshops and to Companies producing moulds, and the acquisition of CAR SERVICE S.r.l. a company specialised in logistics and in the transportation of machine tools.
