Connex the well-known Stratasys 3D multi-materials printers series is divided in 3 versions!

The range has expanded with three different configurations:

 

Connex1
Allow to choose up to three materials from 14 available photopolymers that simulate rubber, polypropylene and standard manufacturing plastics. With ultra-fine 16-micron layer resolution, The Objet500 Connex1 gives you outstanding accuracy, down to the finest detail.

 

 

 

Connex1 with triple-jetting technology gives you:

  • Great throughput for multi-material 3D printing
  • 14 base materials
  • Up to 3 materials in a single build
  • High material capacity and hot-swapping for efficient workflow

 

The Objet500 Connex1 offers 14 base materials including:

  • Transparent materials with great dimensional stability and surface smoothness
  • Rubber-like materials (Tango family) suitable for non-slip and non-scratch surfaces or simulated overmolding
  • Rigid Opaque materials (Vero family) in white, gray, blue and black
  • Simulated Polypropylene materials with toughness and durability to create living hinges, flexible closures and snap-fit prototypes

Connex2

With triple-jetting technology, 120 Digital Materials and a 500 x 400 x 200 mm build envelope, you get the space and material variety to unleash productivity. 3D print jigs, fixtures, injection molds, silicone molds and sandcasting patterns in-house for next-day use. In one print job, you can combine tough Digital ABS with a base material, like TangoBlack, to produce tools with non-slip surfaces or soft-touch coatings.For tools or prototypes that require a range of mechanical, optical or thermal properties, you can combine pairs of base resins in preset configurations to render up to 27 distinct material properties in one part.

 

 

Connex2 with triple-jetting technology gives you:

  • Great throughput for tooling and prototypes
  • 120 two-component Digital Material options
  • 14 base material options Up to 27 material properties in a single build
  • Material hot-swapping

More Than 120 Material


Options Base materials include:

  • Transparent materials with great dimensional stability and surface smoothness
  • Rubber-like materials (Tango family) suitable for non-slip surfaces or simulated overmolding
  • Rigid Opaque materials (Vero family) in white, gray, blue and black
  • Simulated Polypropylene materials with toughness and durability to create living hinges, flexible closures and snap-fit prototypes

 

Composite Digital Materials include:

  • Digital ABS and Digital ABS2 to simulate the heat resistance and toughness of standard ABS plastic
  • High Temperature materials in varying shades and hardnesses
  • Rigid Opaque and Transparent materials in shades of blue and gray
  • Rubber-like materials with varying shades, translucencies and elastomer characteristics
  • Simulated polypropylene with improved thermal resistance  

 

Connex3

With triple-jetting technology, hundreds of Digital Materials, and a 500 x 400 x 200 mm build envelope, the Objet500 Connex3 is a product development and production powerhouse.Get unmatched versatility with a range of material properties from rubber to rigid, transparent to opaque, neutral to vibrantly colored and standard to biocompatible. For jobs that require a range of mechanical, optical or thermal properties, only Connex3 lets you combine up to three base resins in pre-set configurations to produce up to 82 materials in a single build.

Hundreds of Digital Materials

Base materials include:

 

  • Digital ABS in the Mix: For tough, ergonomic tooling, only the Objet500 Connex3 lets you blend the strongest PolyJet photopolymer, Digital ABS, with Rubber-like Material to produce a range of Shore A values with great durability.
  • High Temperature: This material is ideal for tooling and fixtures that require higher heat. Blend with Rubber-like material to achieve a range of Shore A values and thermal properties.
  • Bio-compatible: Medical materials offer excellent visualization and great dimensional stability for dental delivery trays, surgical orthopedic guides and hearing aids.
  • Rubber-like: With a range of bright and subtle colors, opacities and elastomer characteristics, this adaptable material is ideal for a variety of tools and prototypes.
  • Simulated Polypropylene: Tough single-material options withstand the stress of living hinges, flexible closures and snap-fit parts.
